FAQs

If you apply your makeup in a poorly lit room and then go out in daylight, you may appear to have much more makeup on than you intended! The same goes if you apply your makeup in bright lighting but then go for an evening meal in a candlelight setting, you may look like you have no makeup on at all. Being able to change light settings means you can see how you will look to others in different lighting environments.

The Beautifect founder tried and tested every single part of the Beautifect Box, and selected only the best quality components and materials for our customers. It was a lengthy engineering process, but the results were worth it!

The advanced Luminous System is unique to Beautifect and took 2 years to develop. Emulating daylight perfectly and eliminating shadows by evenly dispersing light over the entirety of your face. This advanced Luminous System has 5 colour modes, 3 brightness levels and a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of above 90. This allows even the slightest variation in makeup shades to be visible. CRI ratings are commonly overlooked on most makeup lights on the market, which is why they do not reflect true colours.

We recommend to fully charge the device overnight before first use.

If the LED does not pulse when charger is connected:

• Battery is fully charged
• Battery is drained and may take several minutes to acknowledge charging cable
• Charging cable is not connected properly, check wall socket and charging port
• Ensure the plug is 5V 1-2.5 amps

If your Beautifect Box does not respond when the buttons are pressed:

• Battery is empty and needs recharging
• The touch buttons should be touched in the centre and with the finger not being removed too quickly.

If your Beautifect Box cannot be switched off and/or interface buttons do not respond:

Microprocessor may temporarily be malfunctioning. Restore normal function by reconnecting to the charging cable. Also ensure your fingers are clean, as oil may cause the buttons not to respond.

Delivery

Please note there will be no shipping on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. Our standard UK shipping takes a total of 1 to 2 working days.

How do I check on the status of my order?

Once you place your order you will receive an email from us with your order number. Once we have shipped your order you will receive a second email containing your tracking number. Clicking on this will transport you to the website of your local shipping service, they can provide you with information regarding the delivery of your order.
